Id software the developers of Doom,Quake and the past Wolfenstein games have been bought out by Bethesda's parent company Zenimax. Bethesda having made Oblivion as well as fallout 3. The buyout will not affect any of id's current projects (new Wolfenstein) or their pubishing deal for Rage with EA.
I for one think this will be great partnership between the two developers. Since Bethesda is an great RPG developer and id are amazing FPS devs this could be a matchmade in heaven for Fallout 4 or any other IP comming out of the company.
